checking in

Its the middle of September and it was 92 degrees out today. It was ridiculously humid. I cant stand it. I love the summer and all, but i am so ready for autumn to be here. Today it wasnt.

We'll ive been in school for 3 full weeks now. It feels strange to be a student again, after 8 months of not being a student. Im only on campus every other day for one class, in the wee hours of the morning. My online classes are going pretty well. So far i have all A's..lets see how long that lasts when the exams start coming. Most of the stuff that im being taught now, i already know from being a psych major and stuff. So its a lot of easy work. Its weird being in a county college. In my mind i am a junior in college, but im surrounded by kids right out of highschool. I've been recently forgetting how old i am. It struck the other day when the girl behind me started talking and said she is 16. SIXTEEN! wow. i was 16....4 years ago. FOUR YEARS AGO?! Where is my life going. I cant believe it. My childhood is long over. its so weird. I definitly dont feel my age, and sometimes i dont act it either. its just odd i guess.

Gracie has been doing well. she is walking for good now. She used to walk and crawl all over but now its just walking, almost running. she is a fast little monster. She's been sick for a good week now, and she is teething. Not good. She is so funny though, whenever she wakes up in the morning or from her nap, she dosent cry. she simply just yells "MOM...MA...MAMA...MOM" until someone comes and gets her. She just sits up in her little bed waiting for someone to come in. So funny. She is such a joy, i couldnt imagine life without her.

Tomorrow we are going to the adoption agency for her 6 month check in thingy, then we are going to visit ant at eastern. Im pretty excited to see the campus, i've only heard good things. And i miss my brother. Life is dull without him too. So much more quiet.

tally-ho!
