back to school!

Now that i know people read this thing, i will try to update it more. I am back at valley forge! What a crazy 3 days it has been. I arrived on sunday, and i am almost done with my first week of classes. It actually feels like i never left. it is really easy to get in a rut here, but im trying my hardest to fight it. THe first couple days i had has been crazy, schedule wise. Registrar is really messed up, and since the social work program here is really new, we are still trying to iron out the kinks. I changed my schedule, bought and returned books 3 times. But FINALLY i have the right one. I dropped a Gospels: Life of Jesus class, which i wanted to take cause its with one of the best professors here, but sitting in the class i felt overwhelmed with the amount of work it was going to be. I hate to say it but it wasnt worth my time for a bible elective i could take online. I really need to focus on my social work classes.

This semester i am taking Human Sexuality which is with my fav. professor. Its going to be great, the textbook is the 5 love languages, which is one of my favorite books. Its going to be really exciting. I am also taking Mass Media and Society, Biblical Theology, Social Welfare Policy, and Community Mental Health. Im really excited about all my classes. I already have a lot of work and reading to do, and its kind of difficult to get back into the swing of things, but ill be okay im sure. I sort of still feel out of place because theres lots of people here i dont know. A lot of my friends graduated...And all the freshman look so young (and act it too) Speaking of graduation, the way the social work program runs with its policies on internships, i wont be graduating for another 2 1/2 years. Yeah very frustrating. I feel like i wasted a lot of time. I know God has his purposes for me being here, but still...

Leaving Gracie was really hard, but i talk to her over the phone...she sounds like such a big girl and talks so clearly..She has been sick the past week i've been here so im kind of glad im here and not home, though i do miss her tons. I will be home on the weekend though (no classes monday, YES!) so i will spend lots of time with her. The week here goes by pretty fast.

All my roomies are cool, its kind of hard and awkward for me to move into an already lived in apartment but im slowly feeling more comfortable. All 5 of us watched american idol together the past 2 nights.
Actually last night while watching A.I. we smelled some gas in our apartment..we didnt really know what it was or where it was coming from so we called security and they came over to check on it. He said it was just the boiler from outside that produces the gas and he said it happens all the time..Then the smell went away, but came back in my room and erhin called her mom to see what her mom thought. We just cracked the window and fell asleep hoping we wouldnt blow up, and we didnt..

ve been enjoying myself though but its been really too cold to do anything outside of the dorms...I could probably be doing some reading instead of blogging...i say that but its really 10:30 at night and ill probably just go to sleep.....

2 classes tomorrow, then a couple on friday and then home..yes!
